Tucked away in a quiet cul-de-sac, close to Wanaka’s lake and township, this north-facing cedar-clad home is a stunner. A sealed concrete driveway leads to the heavy-set pivot door, which opens into a stylish foyer.
Turn right to the rumpus room, where grown-up children can keep friends entertained; two bedrooms complete with wardrobes, a separate bathroom and a sink bench make this space a self-contained haven. Heated concrete floors promise warmth and no-fuss cleaning. Back at the entrance, turn left and climb the American oak staircase. Easy living beckons in the open-plan lounge-dining space. Bench seating under the kitchen windows allows the family to enjoy ample early-morning sun during breakfast and cleverly concealed storage in the seats is a bonus. LED lighting in the joinery comes to life at dusk. The living room, with built-in gas fi re for cold winter days, leads onto a covered ti mber deck with water views, perfect for entertaining in summer. Also on this level is the master bedroom, complete with ensuite, walk-in wardrobe and an outlook to the lake.
