It was essential that this four-bedroom homestead blend easily into the rural environment. Sited on 30ha of rolling land and surrounded by stunning rural views, the materials for the 312sqm house had to be carefully chosen. The corrugated Colorsteel roof, board-and-batten cladding and natural stone columns complement the country surrounds, while the positioning of the home was designed to capture all-day sun.

As well as making outdoor living a breeze, the sunny aspect allows the polished concrete floors to absorb the heat from the sun. The floor slab stores heat thanks to the installation of Firth RibRaft HotEdge .

Entering the home via the kitchen, you’ll be charmed by the raked ceilings and warm and welcoming decor. A schist feature wall behind the free-standing fire adds to the country feel of the home, and that theme continues to the bedrooms.

This design flair also carries through to the bathrooms, which have tiled floors and custom vanity frames featuring rustic timber tops and stylish stone bowls.
