The thoughtful design fits into its character neighbourhood, makes efficient use of its limited footprint, and the workmanship is top-drawer. The living space is bathed in natural light, thanks to bifold doors on two walls that open directly to decking and the trees that surround it. And small doesn’t mean that details need to be sacrificed for space. You’ll find V-groove ply ceilings, custom timber joinery throughout and stairs that feature windows from the ground floor right through to the ceiling of the top storey. But perhaps the crowning glory of this wee house is the exterior, which is bold and adventurous, but references the gables and lines of the older homes that surround it. Small, but perfectly formed.
